Bridging Trainees giving wrong impression for maap graduates...
good day sir/dux, share ko lang sa inyo yung experience namin sa MarE board exam, may kasama kaming 1st batch ng bridging which only spent 6 months onboard and was allowed to take the entrance exam, i think part yun ni sir cleto na experiment if the bridging cadets in only 6 months onboard is competent enough to handle the entrance exams, nung una sir eh ilang siya kasi inaastigan namin sir, but then later naman eh tropa tropa din, he even shared na not all of them are really looking like toughies sa academy, mentioning the experienced mapua graduates in his batch, still, nakisama naman siya sa min sir but we look at him of course just like another examinee not a fellow academy comrade...so in the end sir pasado naman siya, included siya sa dinner namin with the president because pres promised we will have a special dinner provided na siyento yung batch namin sa exam sa first take.
Also back then ng nagrereview na kami, we encountered the first batch of cook cadets, masaya nga sir kasi may konting bonding yung MarE 07 at sila sa gabi dadalhan nila kami ng pulutan galing sa galley tapos scag na then tong its, i suppose they dont have much seniority but in the same time they respect other alumni like us as a normal person. Sabi nga nila dapat may dunking din sila and sana nagaral sila ng 3 years sa maap just to experience yung nakita nila sa min before graduating. Naiingit nga daw sila kasi we have such priceless experience that not anyone has a chance to have on.

Re: Bridging Trainees giving wrong impression for maap graduates...
good day sir...
back-up ko lang yong sinasabi ni 4e gungon about sa nakasama naming bridging (jay) sa exam..
siguro sir it all depends on the person itself and on our own perception sa nakikita natin sa kanila...so far si jay pa lang naman yong bridging na nakasama namin, and he is, so far a good company and a good product of maap..ewan na lang namin don sa iba...
on the other hand, let's try to look at the other side of the picture..let's ask ourselves "pano kaya nila tayo tingnan? naaangasan din ba sila satin? magagaling ba talaga tayo sa pananaw nila?" kasi this are the common Qs natin about them..we always estimate their abilities..we always compared them to us basing on our own standards....siguro after answering all these Qs, we may fully understand both sides...masmaganda kasi kung magtutulungan tayo lahat since pare-pareho lang naman tayong product ng iisang institution...
pangit kasi kung tayo ang maghihilaan pababa at magsisiraan..ang kasiraan ng isa satin eh nagiging kasiraan ng buong academy..and for me, the best way to do things right is by understanding each person as an idividual..
yon lang mga sir at dux....

Re: Bridging Trainees giving wrong impression for maap graduates...
ah! na-new post ko tong topic na to di pala reply!
ANTO! hahaha!
anyway, siguro kung makakasama man ako ng bridging tulungan ko na lang, di ko sila igegeneralize since yung nakasama namin okay naman, mentioned lang ni jay na yung matatanda nyang kabatch yung makukunat. as of this time may naprove na naman tayo sa sarili natin as officers, so kung may bridging man ako nakasama junior na lang trato ko dun since kahit bumaligtad mundo napunta sa barko yan kasi maap product sila. ahead tayo sa experience. tama si sir dela cruz. malasakit. malasakit na lang iisipin ko kaysa maging cynical sa bridging, kasi iniisip ko rin pag isang 4-year academy product yung makasama nila sa barko medyo maiintimidate yung mga yun kasi they will be curious kung ano difference nila sa atin, same sa nakita ko kay jay inobserbahan nya kami as maap products.

WHY
its ok lang naman yan... every members of long blue line is motivated na maging professional..... medyo ang hirap lang sa part natin eh....kase we are trying to be proud pero we keep our feet step on the ground.... then i met 1 of the members of this bridging cadets na pretending na member daw sya ng class 2008.... ok na yung nagamit na sana nila ung facilities ng maap para maging marine engineers din sila pero ung gamitin nila ung symbol ng hardship natin sa academy is not acceptable........our class ring symbolizes as our trophy and it must be wear only by those members of long blue line

bridging trainees...
We can do better if we work & help together. Let us not stereotype as they are part of MAAP. Although they don't have the same training as we have, we can help them to give a better result.

Bridging Trainees giving wrong impression for maap graduates...
rez, tama ka pangit mageneralize tayo, pero pangit naman na iblame yung bridging, kasi ano naman talaga ang usual result ng performance nila sa barko, sila lang talaga yung mga nag grab ng opportunity, di ko rin naman talaga gusto iblame yung nag simula nyan, yung mismong literal na nagbigay ng idea, yung mismong nagimplement, not completly hehe...kasi yung pagkakaimplement nyan mabilis masyado due to sudden demands, tsaka yung feedback na nangyari jan, i'm sure na nakarating yan sa MAAP which will reflect the next batches of bridging cadets, it's being sad na ganon nga ang nangyari which is cynical...still anjan na yan eh, nasabi na di ba...so now, sana tulungan na lang kung makakasama ng isang bridging cadet, i sure hope na through time (usually through us who have undergone thorough training) things will work good naman regarding sa bridging at sa tin, and gradually yung tingin ng lahat sa mga MAAP cadets in general will be good as is....carry na lang may gripes din ako pero transition ang nangyayari kaya cope na lang
