Bridging Trainees giving wrong impression for maap graduates...
to all alumni and those still inside the academy i just want to open a topic regarding the bridging program i know from the time it started most of use are not approve of it, actually in my point of view and sinasabi ko dito sa barko tong mga bridging na to nag 6 months lang sa ASTC feeling nila MAAP GRADUATES na sila. well i open up this topic to finout if you have encoutered cases in which a bad endorsement was blamed on an alumni just to fin out that it was a bridging trainee. i.e. one 2007 while i was on board one wiper in my company was sent home for the simple reason that he cannot take seasickness, upon next crew change i was informed that it was a MAAP Graduate, just to find out na he was not part of nay class in maa kasi mechanical enginer pala, just now i found out na may na indorse nanaman dun sa opisina namin na in the words of those who herd "matatapang talaga kayo mga MAAP kayo, pinapasakay na akyo ayaw nyo pa". just to fid out na M/E din pala ang liko, i realize na we as alumni is doing our best to keep the name of our academy respected and its alumni as good and trustworthy seafarers, pero this two incidents is giving a wrong impression for the alumni and for our juniors. i just would like to ask to every one if you can share similar incidents or cases. and what should we do about this kasi people don't know the difference between pirated (bridging) and original (DUX).

ORIGINAL vs PIRATED
good day dux/sir,
From the first day they "bridging" started at MAAP, they have the impression "im a part of MAAP" but in fact, they were not! They havn't experience what we have undergo, for being a plebe to our senior is the hardest part and the most important thing is give respect to our Alma Matter.
During our 1st class years, we've encounter some of the bridging program during free time at the gymnasium. all of them would like to play basketball, but did they think twice who's the priority? hahaha :-) should be the ORIGINAL (Dux) one. Your right sir, society did not recognizewho among are the PIRATED and the ORIGINAL one.
We all do the right things for our Alma Matter...

"ang langaw pag nakapatong sa kalabaw pakiramdam na nung langaw eh malaki na din..." that how the world plays.. pero, ano ba magagawa natin dun sa mga yun? any idea mga dux?.. for me, just continue what we are doing for our alma mater.. just make our academy proud of us... bakit?.. kasi yun ang magiging distinction natin sa kanila... kasi kung papansinin lang natin mga yun.. abay tatanda lang tayo ng maaga.. lets prove to them kung ano ba talga meaning ng maap graduates... hindi lang sa diploma nakikita yan... sa gawa... we know what to do mga dux.. sabi nga ng senior namin before we grad... hindi na rin maiiwasan na may mga ganyan na langaw. i agree that we just have to do our part and dont mind the little things (langaw) we are set to greater to things than to mingle in their business. WE JUST HAVE TO MAKE MAAP PROUD AND TAKE CARE OF THE PRESTIGE OUR FAMILIES' NAME HAS GIVEN US. xe ang kasunod sa tanung na taga saan ba yang mga yan(langaw) ay kung sinu-sino ba yang mga yan(langaw).
good day dux.

how to know the difference frm posers and hard knocks???
ask them. ARE YOU ONE OF US??? Tsun!!!
tama si seh almario, nasa personality yun, and hello! what is six months compare to four years.
sabi ni pelagio... Let's make MAAP Proud! let's keep rolling duxes. (oh tama ba yang plural form na yan?)
lets mind our craft nalang, may orig na alumni din nman endorsing eh, tulad ng mga nagpapagupit ng spartans kahit corsairs nman sya. pero the best talaga yung post ni pelagio, astig! parang charlie 3rd platoon nung time ko.
best regards to all!
