MLC: do you think it will help or just a burden?

Mga kamaya pointers since MLC is now being implemented gradually do you it will help the filipino seafarer?or help in the current shortage of officers

i believe it'll help the shortage of officers sir.. i have attended the MLC Info Seminar at Philcamsat last yr and i believe that it will, at the same time, saves time for the officers because we may took the courses one by one (khit po in between contracts), till we could qualify for the Management Level Exam..with MLC, officers can also take their COC certificates during the oath taking, basta tpos n po lht ng MLC courses

thanks edelwina coz marmi rin kasi mga hearsay alam mo naman ang seaman ayaw ng nahihirapan pero may points of equivalency nman yng mga yan so pwede mgng shrter ang term ng training. sa ngyon ang ngoofer ng MLC ay New Simulator Center of the Philppines and Proteck Marine Training Ctr. yan 2 pla ang accredited as of now exact on the way pa ang accreditattion

sayang po pla ung PPT Presentation n ginawa ko last year.. nun po kasing nilayasan ko ang Barber hnd ko ncopy lht ng mga reports n ngwa ko

ok po sna ung PPT n ginawa ko bout MLC.. ung comparison po ng lenght of training; s nkgawian n trainings after board exam followed by trainings for COC, vs. taking up MLC in between contracts and be able to receive the COC certificate during Management Level Oathtaking .. well, subjective po ung opinion ko as of now.. pero i believe it will be cheaper for the seafarers and at the same time practical due to the life style that we have.. that is, more work than vacation..

at MLC, pwede n po simulan ang courses khit 6mons k plng nka-akto as Jr. Officer.. so pag dating ng time n acceptable n ng PRC ung length of Sea Service mo to take up Management Level Exam.. pwedeng tpos mo n ang MLC or konting units nlng.. so if tpos n ng seafarer ung MLC, pwede n mgsbay ung COC s Oathtaking.. (ang kulit ko po ba? paulit-ulit.. hihihi )

Sa mga ngaakala pong ang mga info n binabanggit ko dito ay hear-say lng.. well, pwede po kau mg tnong s New Sim (Trng Cnter).. don ko po nkuha ung seminar when i was the Training and Competency Development Officer of Barber Smith-Bell Manning Inc. back in June of 2007.

Nsa-sainyo npo ang decision whether you will push thru on this kind of program.. kau nmn po ang nakaka-alam ng capacity nyo.. at gano po kau ksipag.. it's up to you po kasi you have to sacrifice couple of weeks on your vacations pra maunti-unti nyo ang mga courses s MLC.. pwede rn nmn pong biglain hihihi..
