yan na nga siguro yun sir! the simplicity and minimalism na tinutukoy.. wow.. astig ng mga panaginip niyo sir..

kasi kung mapromote naten yan, kahit yung lighthouse lang poh, pagkakita nila, "ay! asmaapi yan!"

i support the logo sir! galing poh!

Ang lupit ng pagkakagawa sir! Pro na Pro ang dating. i've been working around that ligthouse angle for a long time, pero hindi ko naisip yun to try that way.

Good Points:
1: Simplicity - Using one color, hindi it confusing.
2: Minimalism - magaan sa mata at utak sir. madaling tandaan.
3: Unmistakably Negative Meaning "A" - Well, baka maisip ng iba masama ang ibig sabihin ng negative. sa design, when we say negative, it is a hidden design. Tulad ng right arrow ng FedEx between E and X. hindi agad napapansin na may arrow don, because its "negative". The negative "A" in the lighthouse is very well thought out sir. astig.
4: Lighthouse to symbolize the Guidance.

Possible Problimatic Point:
Lighthouse. Baka may magreact na walang representation sa MarE kasi MT lang naman ang usual na gumagamit ng Lighthouse.

Possible Solution:
I think we could work it out with the lighthouse as representing the ASMAAP, Inc in guiding the alumni. I mean, ung Lighthouse is the Incorporation na nag-guguide sa lahat ng alumni whether they are MT, MarE, MTE or Landbased.


Final thought:
as much as i liked the Logo, i would like to encourage pa rin ang submission ng iba, or possible revisions ng mga masa-suggest d2. siguro after 2 more submissions from different artists, pagbotohan natin ang magiging official product.

additional point for symbolic figures(if you don't notice) is the light rays for unity, signifying the equality. And the roof top of the lighthouse pointing upward, it signifies for progress. the design i primarily based on our Code. What ever you think! We are Alumni, we are for one goal No MarE or MT etc.. Im not being bias. I'm Mar E But i favor the lighthouse, because for me it symbols for all seafarers.

I'm encouraging others to make one also. maybe you have more better idea.
