where is admin

It seems that many starts to notice i've been inactive for a while. The reasons are as follows:

1: Reassignment of Office
My work performance for Japanese guest prompted them to request me to take part in their training program. Thus, from alumni coordinator, VADM reassigned me onboard T/S KFO to develop appropriate training for our cadets there sponsored by IMMAJ. The perks include higher allowance (instead of mere 8k PHP the admin is giving me here as alumni coordinator), active sea service and travel.

I accepted the offer with a condition that T/S KFO should have an internet connection so i may still perform my job here in this website. The president approved. However, as you well know, standard process of MAAP is, uhm, 166khz only. after more than a month onboard, there still no connection! Even our salary (mine, 4E tolentino, 3/O Navarro, capt. torres) is not yet updated.

as a recourse, tolens05 bought his own broadband-plug-and-play connection. but since its from our expense and MAAP gives us (yet) very little salary, we only use internet (as of this moment) for essential missives.

2: Sub-Admin
Before i left the Alumni Office, one alumnus replaced me to perform routine tasks like distribution of merits, approval of joining requests, etc. however, i found out (just today, May 16) that he already resigned (i was not informed when).

Bottomline, it will be a stormy season for our website. With an upcoming Alumni Magazine scheduled for release in time of Homecoming, with work for each of us, it will be a topsy-turvy month(s). I hope no one will jumpship or fall overboard.

Our website is designed to be self-sustaining, to function even with temporary absence of an admin. This is an opportunity to test it.

there's a reason for everything and everything has a reason. Everyone has other lives in the real world aside from the life here in the website and admin is not exempted. but its good that admin had methods to counter the situations and still give effort to maintain not only this site but the society as well. As admin has said it will be a stormy season ahead for the society and it is a challenge for us members of ASMAAPI to not just maintain but also to develop the society even in the absence of our leader. to admin sir we salute you in behalf of the society. sir admin pwede po ba keo mag post ng mga upcoming exams for the in coming batches? kasi yung site ng maap wala nun. and also if ever please include an application form that we can download and printed out para naman makatulong sa mga gustong pumasok sa ating academya. salamat po admin in advance.
