Ranking System Ver. 1.0

Ranking system (1) recognizes supportive efforts of the alumni for the betterment of the Webforum and the Society as a whole; and (2) encourages participation of all members.

As per Alumni Homecoming Meeting dated 12 July 2008, Ranking System will be used for the following:
1. Measurement of participation / activity of alumni (on going)
2. Prioritization in giving freebies (magazine, give-aways, etc.) (on going)
3. Credit-worthiness for financial assistance (drafting soon)


Forum Ranks

Forum ranks are symbolized by yellow Vicks located on the right. More Vicks means higher ranking. Vicks can only be earned after achieving Compliant Rank.


Noob
Rank of Noob (or newbie) is the default rank. No requirements are needed for this rank.

Compliant
Compliant rank is a requirement to achieve any further rank.
Requirements: At least 1 post,
At least 2 merits
Valid Username
Posted on Newbie Section

Supporter
Supporter complied with forum requirements and the alumni registration fee of 200php. Usually lobbies in the forum and give their inputs in the threads.
Requirements: Compliant rank
Valid Pic / Avatar
Paid Membership Registration fee (200php including Alumni ID.)
At least 10 posts
At least 10 merit

Activist
The rank of Activist denotes high participation in the forum. It includes setting up threads and recruiting other members.
Requirements: At least 100 Post
At least 25 Merits
At least 3 Active Threads (Topics started and postings are not more than 2 weeks old)
At least 3 recruits (member should post in the Newbies who recruited him).

Fanatic
Fanatic includes the concern of the Society in their lifestyle. Regularly checking post, involves himself in exchange of relevant comments and suggestion, and give-in their monthly/lump-annual dues.
Requirements: Paid monthly (100php) or annual (1,000php) membership dues
At least 200 posts
At least 50 merits
At least 5 Active Threads
At least 5 recruits

Hero
Heroes trust the management of the Society in providing membership benefits, and this trust is made visible by depositing (to be discussed soon) a certain amount in the Society for temporary use in pursuance of project or for his future personal use.
Requirements: Deposited (in excess of annual due) at least 500php
At least 300 posts
At least 75 merits
At least 7 active Threads
At least 7 recruits

aba ang dami na palang nagbago dito halos 3 weeks lang ako di nakakbukas dahil busy in preparation for USPH ang dami ng nabago. pero anyway maganda to, nagiging excitement ang site na toh.

parang pyramiding ang style na to ahh recruitan... dapat bago magbayad kailangan mag lagay mo na ng set of officers para maayos at malinaw ang lahat.

baka pwede na rin ako bumili ng share sa forum na to kasi parang "stocks" na to ehhh, pera pera na ang labanan...

I'm sorry to inform you dux that Recruitment Merits will be awarded to the recruiter and the recruited if and when the recruited announced it in his/her Newbie Post.

EXAMPLE

"Hi everyone,
im <rank> so-and-so, from <coy> company and proud member of <year> class. i was recruited here by <alumni so-and-so> i'm presently <updated status>.
see you around."

That newbie post immediately earn the new member 3 merit points. 1 for a newbie post, another as recruited member and last for updating his status.

Please encourage your recruit to post in Newbie Section that contains the following information from the sample. it will help the administration in tracking and monitoring status and career progress of all alumni.

sir, in many ways, it is like a stock. for one main reason, the Alumni Society of Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific is a [bold]legal incorporated organization[/bold] duly registered to Securities and Exchange Commission with Company Registration Number CN200717048. We, as a group, was registered and recognized as a non-profit organization last October 30, 2007. By paying the required registration fee, all registered alumni is, in effect, a stockholder and have a Voting power in all matters concerning the Society.
