Recession.. affected ba tau?? or affected na??

thank you ? saan? wala naman ako natulong ahhh? ang bababit naman ng mga '08 wala bang merits ang mga mababait? i recommend batch '08 for merits point...

Buhayin ko lang po yung thread na ito kasi po up to now applicable pa rin naman siya.
Yes we are affected by the recession no doubt about it. Right now kahit ang mighty NYK aminado na affected din.First was the PCC,then the cargo,bulk,container, what will be affected next are the tankers and then according to my other sources the off shore are the least or last to be affected. But dont put your hopes here too high. One should not be blinded by the glitter of gold and the glimmer of silver. One should still analyze and put his mind upon making their decisions. Off shore companies are bannering that they are not much affected by the recession but still you must think of the stability of ones job. Kahit malaki ibayad sa inyo ngayon sigurado ba kayong katapos ng isang kontrata ay may susunod pa ba? this one company i know offers offshore with the price of one rank lower ang pasok and lower yung pay kapag baguhan and tataas na lang siya kapag tumagal na.sounds convincing but their contracts have no guarantee na may sunod na sakay after one contract.kasi ang pagtanggap nila ng tao is somewhat palakasan din. I'm not saying all off shore are like this,i'm saying is to be thorough to all your desicions.

sabi nga ng Hapon sa isang seminar, one should not aim for a higher pay,but to a stable job. and I think he is right.

eventually the maritime industry is the mirror of the world economy... as of now dependent pa rin ang world economy sa oil so the least we could expect is for a lower salary from tankers though as of the moment some companies are actually increasing... This recession might be bad in effect for the rest but surely will be a good opportunity for others to start, be strong and all avenues are now open... if you stick with the conventional ways that are stable before the crisis you ain't getting no where. so what i suggest for seafarers, keep on training and whenever your fleet allows you to have a wider range of vessel types go ahead... tankers will still be on the rise in the next years it will still take time before the green-efficient energy sources shoots up... the airlines may fall to their knees but the maritime industry cant. And it must not because when it does the half of the world's population will die... Keep on propelling the world economy dux!

affected n! well nun una akala ko ndi masyado mararamdaman ng shipping ind, ngaun for example ung principal nmin s cf sharp so to speak eh,, may mga barko n cla n ng offhire and ung iba wala tlgang byahe.. so ang nangyari ngaun ang hirap n mkasakay, hay life!!!
