As far as I know sir SVDR differ in some interfaces like for example some have 8 serial lines some have 16 serial lines depending on the model you have and manufacturer's design. Many differences may be noted like the Radar interfaces, the VHF Channel recorders and microphones used to record audio in the Bridge as well as the playback system used. Also some protocols used for the interface like Automation and Control system may contribute in some of these differences. The clarity of the recorded data may be affected by the equipments used to feed data in the SVDR in some cases sir. Basically sir their purposes is almost the same (like the Black Box in Aviation) but manufacturers add some features to make their products more buyable.
