Re: cigaret n likor ban in singapore?

IT IS AN OFFENSE TO BUY, SMOKE or PROCESSES CIGARETTES WITHOUT THE 'SDPC' MARKING.
Offenders will be fined with a minimum of S$500 per packet of 20 sticks or less and/or jailed.
This notice, therefore, is soliciting from all manning offices who are taking care of the pre-departure briefings to clearly brief all joiners to any of our ships (technical and manning
ships) NOT bring "illegal cigarette" who are joining a ship in Singapore, or coming for a briefing and/or training.
This is also to highlight that one stick of illegal cigarettes (without SDPC marking) the rule applies without any leniency
